Draft for the pilotThese terms need to be checked and signed off by the licensee before the scheme opens to customers.

Half Moon Rewards is run by The Half Moon Inn, Ryton Village, Tyne and Wear. It's free to join. You must be 18 or over.
You get one stamp for each paid pint of a qualifying drink (currently all our draught pints; half pints don't count), recorded by staff scanning your card at the bar.
Every 9 stamps gives you a free pint voucher for a qualifying drink. Spare stamps carry over.
You can collect stamps as soon as you join. To use a free pint you must first confirm your email address.
Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has used your card, reset your password and tell staff.
A free pint can be used from 24 hours after it's earned. This keeps the scheme within the UK mandatory licensing conditions, which don't allow free alcohol as a reward for drinking within 24 hours.
Free pints don't earn stamps. Stamps and free pints have no cash value and can't be transferred.
A card code works once and for about a minute. Screenshots won't work. If the app is down, stamps can't be added for that visit.
Stamps and free pints don't expire during the pilot. If you haven't used your card for 24 months, we'll email you, and then delete your details and any unused stamps.
Staff may refuse service in line with the pub's licensing responsibilities. The scheme never changes that.
We may change or end the scheme. We'll give notice on this page and at the bar.
